Sometimes you get lost in your own city, and find a place you’d never of known existed otherwise.
Whenever I’m so wrapped up in my day to day life sometimes I forget to stop and enjoy the moment. When I’m eating dinner I’m planning out what the photo I’m going to take for Instagram will look like, I plan my mornings around where I’m to take a photo of my coffee, and admittedly I check my phone way too often. There are times that I get so wrapped up in the cyber life that I’ve created for myself that I forget to experience life in real time. So when I happen upon a random street corner when I’m out taking outfit photos it’s a surreal moment for me. I love Louisville, a lot, but there is so much I don’t know about the city. I frequent, mostly, the same restaurants and bars and stick to basically the same schedule. It’s easy to stick to what we know, but I want to make an effort to step outside my comfort zones and be present in the here and now.
