Denim jackets are just another reason Fall is the best season. Canadian tuxedos are a bit easier to pull off once the weather drops down a few degrees. When getting in touch with my Kentucky roots I try to pair my head to toe denim look with a graphic tee and my favorite pair of black boots to keep the ensemble from feeling like I just stepped off the farm.
It’s been a gorgeous week so far in Louisville, and now that I’m feeling 100% on the mend from my bout with strep throat I have definitely been out and about enjoying. I’m already looking forward to this weekend as I’ll be hitting up Resurfaced, a local movement to reuse vacant parking lots by creating a place for community interaction. There’s a full calendar of events, which run until October 25th, on their website. If you’re in the Louisville area I would definitely recommend checking it out. It’s a different take on something to do in town on the weekends, and I loved what I saw last Friday.
